Position Summary
The Hardware Assembly is responsible for manufacturing quality cornices from raw goods to finished product based on customer orders.
Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read tickets to confirm project hardware requirements.
Cutting aluminum and other metals using a band saw and assemble carriers per requirements tickets.
Responsible for labeling, grouping, and packing completed hardware kits by room and floor per order.
Responsible for hardware inventory to by maintaining stock levels, keeping a weekly stock order depending on project needs, and keeping inventory area organized.
Inspect finished hardware for quality assurance.
Assist in production where needed.
Qualifications
Great attention to detail.
Experience using a power drill, cutting with a band-saw, and reading a measuring tape.
Some experience in a manufacturing environment.
1-2 years’ experience as an inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferred but not required.
High school diploma.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to measure and do basic math.
Able to lift 10-40lbs.
Salary : $16 - $19
