Description
Machine Operator:
- Operates single needle, overlock, blind stitch, pleater, tacker, bonis machines and cutting fabrics.
- Use sewing machine to perform connected sewing operations in the manufacturing of materials.
- Self-evaluation of finished product for errors and present findings to the department supervisor.
- Operating single, double or automated sewing machines.
- Proficient knowledge of sewing machine functions and usage.
- Use physical / visual measurements of materials for production accuracy.
- Responsible for supervising own work environment and following safety rules and company procedures.
- Understand that production involves many processes and as such are ready and willing to work with other people to hasten production speed.
- Control machine functions to enhance output quality.
- Must be able to lift 30-50lbs
