Meta seeks a highly motivated technology enthusiast to serve as Product Counsel for our AI organization. This role will advise the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning teams on legal and regulatory issues, which will require application of complex and evolving legal frameworks to a new and innovative space. Associate General Counsel, AI Product Responsibilities :
- Serve as primary legal partner for several AI product and policy teams working on proposed AI and ML initiatives, including research and publications, to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with public policy, communications, product management, engineering, product marketing, trust and safety, and other cross-functional teams on external communications, policy development, and product development and launches.
- Lead consensus building across legal partners and coordinate legal advice across complex and multifaceted legal issues such as data protection and privacy, IP, intermediary liability, consumer protection, security, e-commerce, payments, integrity and other global legal frameworks.
- Review global products, features, platforms and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies for products across multiple jurisdictions.
