About the Role:

Based out of our headquarters in Woodstock, IL (60098), you'll be positioned to travel across the Midwest-and potentially nationwide-to conduct inspections and ensure compliance for athletic equipment in schools and recreational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Travel and Comfort: Travel extensively throughout the Midwest, with overnight stays; all driving time is compensated. Enjoy finding Airbnbs and exploring new areas during downtime.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of bleachers, basketball backboards, and other gymnasium equipment, both indoor and outdoor, ensuring compliance with ADA and safety standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Build comprehensive reports and repair lists, including suggestions for ADA and safety upgrades, and document inspection findings accurately.
- On-Site Communication: Represent FaciliServ professionally while interacting with clients to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Safety Focus: Work at heights of 20-50 feet, following all safety protocols and utilizing company-provided tools and equipment.
- Vehicle Responsibility: Maintain and operate company vehicles safely.
Is This You?
- Inspection Experience: Previous inspection experience is a plus but not required; thorough training is provided.
- Skills: Strong communication skills in English, basic math skills, and ability to take detailed photos and measurements.
- Licensing and Background: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass school district background checks and DOT physical.
- Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks involving reaching, standing, crawling, and climbing.
- 100% Travel Availability: Willing to be on the road with full overnight travel required; occasional air travel may also be necessary.

Schedule:
- Full-Time Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability. 35-45 hours.
- Overtime: Eligible for overtime based on workload and project demands.
