Job Summary: At Lettermans, the signage technician provides superior quality installations to transform the clients property or event. Our signage technician will be responsible for the seamless installation of various signage materials and systems while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by sanding and cleaning before painting.
- Apply paint, primer, or other coatings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct quality inspections and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment.
- Mix paints to match specific color requirements.
- Use spray guns for precise and even paint application.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate job progress and any concerns with management and co-workers.
- Interpret design plans to accurately replicate sign layouts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in painting, automotive, or manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of painting materials, methods, and tools.
- Ability to follow safety regulations and maintain quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for reading design plans and managing workflow.
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicle report screening.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to pass a fit for duty test
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in lifted areas above the ground
- Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm
