FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fulfill our Day Porter position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.
Job Summary: Responsible for providing day porter custodial services for a commercial facility located in Lafayette, LA; maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment during business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).
Essential Job Duties:
Job Summary: Responsible for providing day porter custodial services for a commercial facility located in Lafayette, LA; maintaining cleanliness, safety, and a positive environment during business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).
Essential Job Duties:
- Board room set up as requested and per the board room set up calendar
- Regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas (Lobby, restrooms, etc.)
- Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, minor repairs as requested by the operations engineer, etc.)
- Trash removal and recycling
- Monitoring and restocking supplies
- Follow a detailed schedule of day porter shifts
- Provide a monthly report of completed tasks
- Provide a budget estimate for the proposed services
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Passion, and Integrity
- Must have at least 3 years of day porter experience
- Time management
- Must be reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
- Ability to adhere to our drug and alcohol free workplace policy
- Valid driver's license
