Facilities Performance Group is a privately held corporation based in Hernando, Mississippi. For more than a decade, we have been delivering excellence in facilities support services to clients in a wide range of industries, including aviation, utilities, education, logistics, and manufacturing.
Position Description: As an Inside Plant, the incumbent is responsible for working in an industrial environment, cleaning and maintaining facility areas.
Examples of Work:
- Clean and supply designated building areas
- Remove dust and debris from high and low surfaces, lights and walls in industrial buildings.
- Takes out the trash and recycling.
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
- Notifies management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Follows health/safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and practices; safety precautions related to cleaning equipment and supplies used including ability to read cleaning product labels, mix and work with cleaning solutions in proper proportions.
- Ability to perform above duties which may involve standing, bending and kneeling for periods of time; climbing stairs and working in an industrial environment.
Qualifications/Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years old, have a valid Driver License, and will be required to pass a background check and submit to a drug and alcohol screening.
Other/Special note: In this position the incumbent will work in a warehouse that is not climate controlled, with loud noises, work in confined spaces, while completing duties that require repetitive movements such as but not limited to crouching, crawling, kneeling, bending, steeping, squatting, twisting, turning etc.
