What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Assistant II - Facilities Services/Work Management Center position at Facilities Services?
Summary of Duties:
Under general supervision, the Office Assistant performs a variety of routine clerical duties in support of Facilities Services Operations and Administration, specifically at Work Management Center.
- Monitor alarms on the Central Control and Monitoring System and notify appropriate shop(s)/personnel.
- Interpret data on operating conditions and dispatch appropriate personnel.
- Assist with a variety of clerical tasks such as customer service, computer data entry, creating work orders, answering calls, document creation, respond to incoming web requests (verifying and evaluation of provided documentation), maintaining the record keeping/filling systems and assist department/shop supervisors and office support staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduation or equivalent and one (1) year of customer service experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with date entry.
- Experience maintaining or working with confidential information.
- Working knowledge of building construction/maintenance.
Temporary position
Start Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025
End Date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
Hours: Friday - Monday: 5:00 pm - 2:00 am; May be called to fill in at Dispatch.
Wage: $17.40/hr
