What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Technician position at Facilities?
- Cleans offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas as assigned.
- Moves furniture before and after cleaning.
- Cleans, dusts, mops, strips, and waxes floors.
- Cleans or shampoos carpets.
- Pressure washes outside areas.
- Labels floor chemicals correctly.
- Cleans, maintains, and stores equipment and PPE proficiently.
- Keeps an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Reports maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Assists with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the client.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic to function at a high level, independently while managing multiple projects.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, assertive, and a proven track record in exceeding objectives.
- Must have an eye for detail
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Spanish required
