What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part - Time Commercial Cleaning Supervisor position at Facilities?
Knowledge of contract requirements and schedules.
Maintains proper skilled staffing levels specified in schedules.
Assures that work responsibilities are properly allocated among subordinates.
Responsible for training of subordinate personnel in performance of there prescribed duties.
Develops and implements work methods and procedures designed to achieve low‑cost, efficient operations.
Counsels and coordinates with Owner representatives on all matters relating to services performed.
Assists in the formulation of budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and capital expenditures.
Establishes performance standards for each phase of work, where practicable.
Establishes a program for acquisition, storage, and accountability of all operating materials, tools, and equipment when requested by Owner.
Issues reports and summaries as required.
Meets periodically with subordinates to review status of various elements of facility services and to institute corrective measures for any deficiencies discovered.
Performs any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual limitations and are requested by Owner.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the supervision of custodial and carpet services and related housekeeping employees
performing cleaning functions in major commercial or government office buildings.
Needs to have reliable transportation
Available to work nights
Must have a working knowledge of all housekeeping tools and equipment.
Must have general hands‑on knowledge of both routine nightly building cleaning and related services.
English language proficiency.
