Overview
FMC is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Engagement Associate to join our team. This position is to support our customer service, sales & marketing efforts as well as helping with the operation of the Office & Administrative staff when needed. The person who holds this position of Sales & Customer Service Engagement Associate shall be expected to dress and conduct themselves professionally.
This person should be a great listener and act in a helpful manner with a positive attitude toward Customers, Prospects, and fellow Staff members. This position offers an opportunity to interact with customers, handle inquiries, and generate new business. This position is eligible for commissions & bonuses based on productivity & success.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategies & perform outbound calling campaigns to generate leads, recording results & opportunities to bid
- Perform routine walkthroughs with customers to maintain quality
- Collaborate with other sales team members to meet customer needs
- Compose service contracts, present bids, and invoice sales made
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote products and increase sales
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Answer customer inquiries in person, through email, and over the phone
Experience
- Knowledge of sales techniques and upselling strategies
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
