FSI is looking to hire a Graphic Design/Page Set-up/Proposal Associate to join our team.
Job Summary
The Graphic Design/Page Set-up/Proposal Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation of all proposals from concept through presentation to the customer. Assists in the proposal to meet proposal production and timeline, in a timely manner and comply with the internal review requirements and customer requirements. Reports to the BD Director.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Designing and producing digital graphics using computer software applications (InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop).
- Follow graphical standards for the creation of graphical elements, page layouts, and presentations for proposals, presentations, etc.
- Understand the use of headings, styles, page layout in MS Word.
- Developing advertisements and layouts for internet, brochures and more
- Creating original artwork for digital communication and marketing uses
- Resizing images to meet web requirements and other image editing changes
- Working closely with the proposal team to ensure that the job is completed within time constraints
- Conducting research on new design trends and techniques while keeping up with the latest technology in the industry
- Checking the quality of their work for possible mistakes and making any corrections accordingly.
- Provide proposal production, including desktop publishing, proofreading, editing, printing, and binding.
- Assist in the development of strategy, win themes, competitive analysis, or gap analysis associated with proposal.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- An associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification Must have a valid State Vehicle Operators Permit.
- Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry in related area with a private services company or equivalent Government agency.
- Experience preparing documents; Industry-related experience in production, desktop publishing, or similar trade.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Adobe products (to include Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator), and other management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform work at job locations other than the corporate office for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to work in the sitting position for 8 or more hours per day.
- Must be able to work at a computer station for extended period.
- Must be able to handle stressful conditions and make multiple decisions concerning job operations daily.
