Grounds ll Job Description
POSITION: Grounds II
PAY GRADE: 58
LOCATION: Facility Services
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains and cares for athletic fields
- Maintains and cares for school grounds
- Prepares and plants seeds, bulbs, tree seedlings, and shrubbery
- Mows grass
- Prunes trees and trims hedges
- Adjusts and repairs equipment used in landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Lines and marks athletic fields
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Thorough knowledge of athletic fields planning and maintenance
- High school graduate
Requirement:
- Must obtain Herbicide License to spray chemicals within 6 months of employment
