- Supervising a Team: Managing 1-2 plumbing apprentices, ensuring they follow safety protocols, complete tasks on time, and maintain a high standard of work.
- Diagnosing Plumbing Issues: Use knowledge and experience to identify and diagnose plumbing problems in commercial, or industrial settings.
- Providing Expert Plumbing Services: Perform complex plumbing tasks such as repairing pipes, installing fixtures, replacing water heaters, and addressing leaks, clogs, and other issues.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with customers to assess their plumbing needs, provide cost estimates, and explain the work required.
- Training and Mentoring: Train apprentices and junior plumbers on best practices, tools, and techniques, and ensure they understand the safety regulations.
- Project Management: Manage small projects from start to finish, including scheduling, coordinating work, ordering materials, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensuring Code Compliance: Ensure that all plumbing work adheres to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and addresses all issues correctly.
- Troubleshooting: Address complex plumbing problems that may require advanced diagnostic skills and solutions.
