Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to join our dynamic team. This key leadership role requires a visionary with deep expertise in AI / ML, natural language processing (NLP), and systems architecture. As an AI Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the AI architecture that drives our fact-checking platform. You will lead the technical direction, oversee the development of AI / ML models, and ensure the seamless integration of these models into our systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architectural Design & Strategy :
Design and develop the overarching AI architecture for the FactFinders Pro platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Define the AI / ML strategy in alignment with the company’s mission and long-term goals.Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into the platform effectively.Leadership & Team Development :Lead, mentor, and guide a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data analysts.
Drive innovation within the team by fostering a culture of research and experimentation with new AI / ML technologies.Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from concept and design through to implementation and deployment.Ensure the AI models and systems are robust, scalable, and meet the performance requirements for real-time fact-checking.Integrate state-of-the-art NLP techniques and tools to enhance the platform’s fact-checking capabilities.System Integration & Optimization :Work closely with data engineers to design data pipelines that support the AI architecture, ensuring data quality and availability.
Implement MLOps best practices to manage model deployment, versioning, and monitoring.Optimize AI models and systems for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.Stay at the forefront of AI / ML advancements, particularly in NLP, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.Identify and implement new AI / ML technologies and methodologies that can improve the platform’s capabilities.Publish research findings and contribute to the AI / ML community, representing FactFinders Pro at conferences and industry events.Qualifications
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or any related field.7 years of experience in AI / ML roles, with at least 5 years in an architect or senior technical leadership position.Proven experience in designing and deploying large-scale AI systems, particularly those involving NLP and text analysis.Strong background in software architecture, system design, and cloud infrastructure.Technical Skills :
Expertise in AI / ML algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and NLP tools (e.g., Transformers, BERT).Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C .Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).Strong understanding of MLOps, including CI / CD for machine learning, model monitoring, and data governance.Architectural & Leadership Skills :
Ability to design and implement complex AI architectures that meet business requirements.Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with reinforcement learning and active learning techniques.Knowledge of ethical AI practices and the ability to design systems that mitigate bias.Prior experience in the media, journalism, or fact-checking industry.Seniority level
