Role : QA Lead
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead the QA team, including mentoring, coaching for the tech stack and the product.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases.
- Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to ensure software reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Enhance automation frameworks and improve test efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QA processes.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on QA activities and test progress.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance methodologies.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and data.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5 years in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Pytest, Requests, Cypress, Playwright, Postman).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing practices.
- Experience with cloud-based testing tools and environments.
- Experience preferred using GenAI tools to create testing artifacts such as test scenarios, test cases, test data, and automated scripting code.
- Experience preferred testing agentic AI applications.
- Proficiency in bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication.
- Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
