Responsibilities
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Fire Hazards and Protection area, Administration Team, Area Director, Group Managers, Scientists, Engineers and the Lab employees. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing routine reports, memos. Coordinate planning and logistics for meetings and workshops. Process and maintain purchase requests, all invoices, blanket PO’s and supporting employee projects and data management in our mytime and workflow systems. Helping the Admin from other areas as needed. This role will also assist in the onboarding for new hires in the team and be a backup for reception coverage.

- Excellent planning and organization skills, including a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Proven skills in communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Ability to anticipate needs of managers and their teams based on relevant business and/or industry areas of focus.
- Knowledge of office equipment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and equivalent work experience.
- College Education preferred
- 2-5 years of administrative experience supporting a work group or manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Additional Details:
This is a non-exempt, Monday-Friday office-based position.
