Design & develop software programs to meet business requirements, perform unit tests, & fix bugs within Trading engineering dept. Min.Reqs.; BA, or higher, or foreign equiv., in CS, Comp.Eng. or rel. tech. field & at least 5 yrs. Softw. Eng. Exper. in the finance or electronic trading space. (In lieu of stated educ. & exper., will accept MA or foreign equiv. in stated fields & at least 3 yrs. of stated exper.). Must have exper. w / : Firm understanding of Java 1.6 - 1.8 core APIs, including collections, multi-threading, XML, & middleware techs. Hands-on design & implement. Exper. in high-volume, high- perform. real-time systems. Knowledge of financial equity or derivatives products, market data feeds, trade lifecycle & post-trade processing, portfolio mgmt., or Order Management Systems. Knowledge of Swing, JMS, J2EE.
