FactSet is looking for an experienced, and analytical tax professional to join its Global Tax Team as Senior Manager, International Tax. You will oversee international tax compliance, provision and planning processes for the company. This will include supporting the Global Tax Department by preparing supporting schedules for tax calculations, transfer pricing, ETR forecasts and tax audit requirements. You will also coordinate with external advisors and collaborate across functions to enhance and improve financial systems and external reporting associated with international matters.
What you'll do :
- Knowledge of international tax rules and regulations relevant to our business model.
- Provide global oversight and review with respect to foreign income tax audits including investigating and preparing responses to notices and inquiries from various taxing authorities.
- Responsible for U.S. international income tax analysis to support the quarterly ASC 740 global tax provision
- Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit of the US international and material foreign tax accounting provisions with our external US financial statement auditors. The U.S. international tax expertise should include a working knowledge of 987, 988, GILTI, Sub F, FDII, BEAT and FTC rules.
- Review of the Company's foreign ASC 740 uncertain tax positions analysis and documentation of conclusions in annual memorandums
- Stay abreast of tax law changes in the U.S. and in the key foreign jurisdictions we operate to manage risk and identify potential planning opportunities.
- Perform research related to international tax issues as they arise and document tax implications
- Manage the execution and strategic oversight of the OECD's Pillar Two framework, including cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal and other teams to satisfy compliance requirements and to implement restructuring to minimize implications of the new rules
- Lead modeling effort to quantify tax impacts from changes in rules and regulations
- Work collaboratively and proactively with other FactSet's tax teams including SALT, European, indirect, planning and global tax provision
- Optimize tax processes, including development and implementation of procedural changes and / or enhancement of existing processes to improve the tax function, including through automation
- Management of other compliance deliverables including FBAR, FATCA, Form 1042 reporting, treaty certificates, Form W8s, etc
- Develop and execute tax planning strategies including driving cash repatriation efforts and supporting M&A transactions and internal restructurings.
- Coach and mentor junior team members; assess performance and provide feedback

The budgeted salary range for this position in the State of Connecticut and NYC is $155,000 - $180,000.
