Acting as the bridge between client needs and FactSet’s offerings, the team serves Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, and Corporate firms, delivering industry-leading solutions across all asset classes and operational workflows.
We are seeking a Request For Proposal (RFP) Specialist dedicated to managing proposals that effectively showcase FactSet's solutions and technology, aligning them with clients' functional and non-functional requirements in RFPs. This role involves collaborating with product subject matter experts to create compelling RFP responses and supporting materials that clearly articulate the value of our solutions. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate submissions across Sales Engineers, Business Units, Account Managers, and Product Sales Specialists to ensure cohesive and persuasive proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines and align internal teams to these elements to manage the preparation, review, and submission of RFPs.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts on specific client revenue opportunities by collaborating with the Sales teams and internal products SMEs to gather information and tailor proposals to match client requirements.
- Deliver compliant, professionally-produced proposals within client-agreed-upon timeframes by facilitating kick-off, status, collaboration sessions, etc., in a matrixed environment.
- Ensure consistent and accurate information delivered by the proposal process by leveraging Response Management Software and other tools.
- Participate in debriefs for select proposals to identify strengths and areas for improvement, incorporate feedback, and revise the proposal process to improve proposal quality continually.
- Create and present status and metrics reporting on bid opportunities and the associated project management activities for senior leadership to leverage.

- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate efforts across teams.
- Ability to write, edit, and review clear and persuasive RFPs.
- Ability to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and themes within responses that are aligned with client business technology needs.
- Strong sense of ownership of deliverables – timely, accurate, and effective.
- Proactive, and willing to take the initiative, in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn our industry, products, and workflows – with the intent to dig deeper and get more compelling responses from SMEs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 4 years of work experience in cross-departmental project management and proposal writing.
- Experience with technology, either through work experience or education.
- Strong collaborator that is highly organized, detail-orientated, and self-motivated.
The budgeted base salary for this position in the state of Connecticut and in New York City is $65,000-75,000. US applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
