Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates all business locations' human resources and administrative processes. The Human Resource Coordinator stays informed and ensures all HR practices are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
This position will be responsible for student employment, including recruiting, onboarding, and orientation. This position will recruit for West Campus personnel as well as onboarding and orientation. This position will assist with tasks as needed for payroll processing and employee benefits, along with other daily responsibilities that arise in the Human Resources department. Confidentiality is a must!

Salary: $25.00 hourly
Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- At least two years of related experience is required
- Enthusiastic, proactive, motivated, and able to maintain a fast pace in a dynamic work environment
- Detail Oriented
- Takes initiative and ownership of assigned projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

- Human Resource Information Systems (Data entry, report generation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with working in a university environment.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the human resources and administrative functions.
- Assist with the hiring process, recruitment, and onboarding/ orientation for students and corporate hires.
- Recruit, onboard, and complete orientation for all student employees
- Prepare all new hire packets and verify accurate completion of forms and ID's.
- Maintain employee and student files.
- Input background checks.
- Respond to employment verifications
- Maintain and monitor affiliate enrollments, renewals and terminations
- Assist with human resources functions as needed.
- Schedule meetings and interviews.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and request orders as needed as well as shredders and conference rooms
- Keep bulletin boards, required postings, and employee posters current in all common areas.
- File documents into the appropriate employee files.
- Assist with tracking of Human Resources related compliance items
- Create ad-hoc reports on HR-related matters.
- Assist with creating and processing employee status change forms. Review all forms before processing to ensure all information is clear, complete, and accurate.
- Provide clerical and administrative support.
- Coordinate and assist with HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, employee events, etc.)
- Assist with developing standard operating procedures related to HR Administration functions to enhance internal operations and workflow.
