What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Food Service Worker (non-student) position at Faculty Student Association SUNY Fredonia?
We have two positions open - each with set schedules:
Position 1: Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays 2:15pm-10:15pm (24 hours per week)
Position 2: Mon, Tues, Weds 1:30pm-8:30pm and Sundays 9a-7:30pm (29 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and food handling in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area
- Follow proper food safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions
- Flexibility to work in various roles within the food service department
