We are looking for an individual with experience and a professional background in tree, shrub and rose customer service, installation and care. Your main focus is helping customers choose the right plants for their projects, helping them pick the right plant for their space and educating them on the right care for their tree or shrub purchases. Previous experience with landscape design or installation is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:
Job requires a willingness to perform duties in all work environments nature provides including heat, cold and rain. You must be a motivated, hardworking individual who is passionate about plants and people. Recognize our commitment to the store experience and maintain plants, plant product and facility to support that experience. Superior understanding, commitment and focus on excellent customer service.
Tasks:
- Exceptional customer Service.
- Educate customers and offer the right products for their needs.
- Water, dead head and remove unsightly leaves on all plant material.
- Make eye contact and acknowledge all customers.
- Wear and communicate on a radio.
- Help with merchandising and plant groupings.
- Watch for and correct any potential tripping hazards.
- Work areas should be kept clean free of clutter for safety.
- Assist in unloading trucks, stocking and placement of plants and materials.
Skills Required:
- Nursery stock knowledge (trees, shrubs and fruiting) including plant names and plant maintenance requirements.
- Retail experience.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.
Education Preferred:
- 2-4 years of experience in retail.
Preferred Skills
- Active Learner – Seek to be on trend in plant care.
- Team Focused – Ability to seek guidance from and relay information to Plant Care Supervisor.
- Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help both customers and staff.
- Landscape design or installation experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
