What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Fabrication Laborer position at FADDIS CONCRETE PRODUCTS?
Faddis Concrete Products is the leading precast company in the industry. We are currently looking for motivated, team-oriented laborers to fill cage crew positions (Laborers) at our Kutztown, PA Plant.
Adopting safe and responsible work habits, maintaining a good attendance record, gaining a general understanding of rebar and mesh reinforcing cage fabrication, improving personal productivity, and demonstrating the ability to perform required tasks accurately under moderate supervision are keys to success. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Cutting and bending rebar and/or mesh reinforcing to required dimensions.
- Carry out cage fabrication processes in accordance with the direction, policies and objectives set by the department manager.
- Fabricate reinforcing cages per approved fabrication drawings.
- Utilize lean practices to produce in an efficient manner as directed by the crew leader.
- Must be willing to work outdoors.
- Shift begins 6-7am Monday through Friday (typically 8 hour shifts, overtime when required).
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
