Position Summary:
FADI Medical Transportation is seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations, with a key focus on dispatch duties. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dispatch duties by answering incoming phone calls regarding member transportation needs and scheduling.
- Maintain clear and constant communication with drivers to ensure smooth trip coordination and real-time updates.
- Monitor, manage, and adjust trip schedules as changes or issues arise, including cancellations, delays.
- Document and update trip and client information in scheduling software or internal databases.
- Provide general administrative support to the office team, including filing, data entry, and handling emails.
- Assist with resolving client concerns or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or dispatch training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a transportation, medical, or dispatch-related role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling or dispatch software.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
