Summary :
The Urology Inpatient Hospitalist Service is growing at WMCHealth in Valhalla, NY. We are seeking specialty trained Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our inpatient nocturnal urology team. In this position, the PAs will work alongside experienced physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) colleagues medically managing a variety of urological inpatients throughout the course of their hospital stay.
Responsibilities :
- Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up and consultations for diverse urological adult traumas and acute care surgical patients.
- Medically triaging and managing inpatient urological acute matters, as well as, standard pathway admissions.
- Delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.
- Gaining a working competency of procedures inclusive of, but not limited to, cystoscopy, cystostomy, as well as, complicated CBI management.
