Ceramic Tile Installer

Overview
Fadox Construction is a growing general contracting firm specializing in reconstruction and interior remodeling after water damage. We are looking for an experienced Tile Installer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate must have their own truck and tools and be skilled in installing tile for floors, walls, showers, and backsplashes.

Job Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces for accurate tile installation.
• Prepare work areas, including waterproofing and surface leveling.
• Cut, shape, and install various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Coordinate with other trades (painters, drywall installers, plumbers) as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a tile installer in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of tile-setting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Must have a truck and own tile installation tools.
• Ability to cut and shape tiles using hand and power tools.
• Experience with waterproofing systems (Schluter, RedGard, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and project plans.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in reconstruction and water damage restoration.
• Knowledge of epoxy grouting and specialized tile finishes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
