What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance & Restructuring Counsel position at Faegre Drinker?
Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting a Counsel level finance attorney to join the Finance & Restructuring practice group. We are seeking candidates with at least seven or more years of transactional experience to represent financial institutions and corporate trust clients on a variety of corporate trust transactions, which may include structured finance (RMBS, CMBS, and ABS), municipal debt, and corporate debt issuances and transactions.
Candidates must have experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a variety of transactional agreements, which may include trust indentures, loan, account control, agency, custodial, pooling and servicing, servicing, disbursement, master services, non-disclosure, SaaS, software license, statement of works, third-party vendor, service schedules, and other related or similar agreements. The successful candidate also will have excellent writing, review, and negotiation skills, superior academics, exceptional client focus, the ability to manage multiple transactions and assignments with minimal supervision, a willingness and proven ability to manage other lawyers and paralegals, and work as part of a collaborative team.

This is a hybrid position and is available in the following offices: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Florham Park, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Princeton, San Francisco, Washington DC, Wilmington. The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $250,000 - 420,000.
Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
