Job Overview
The audio technician (A2) will work closely with the sound mixer and production manager to ensure all necessary microphone, in-ear monitoring and communications systems are in place and functioning properly for all theatrical and music performances presented in the theatre. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as an A2 or Audio technician in live or televised entertainment of theatrical and music performances and experience in the live mixing and recording of music performances.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Senior Audio Engineer in the load-in and setup of all live productions, music performances, and live events in the Faena Theater and Faena District.
- Maintain the microphones, communications, and cabling systems for all owned audio equipment.
- Replace the Audio Mixer in all situations that require an additional monitor mixer or FOH mixer for all live theater productions, music performances, and live events.
