Our Opportunity

The 3D designer is responsible for creating three dimensional models and renderings for a variety of accessories, including jewelry, hair and small soft goods. The role requires both creative and technical skills to bring concepts to life in a digital space. Responsibilities will also include designing into customer centric and trend right product for all categories. The position reports to and is supported by the Design Director but will work closely with our customers and cross functional team.

Primary Responsibilities

Create detailed and accurate 3D models and renderings based on project specifications

Develop realistic textures for various accessory materials

Collaborate with cross functional teams including designers, merchandisers, sourcing and sales

Conduct research to ensure designs are innovative and align with customer requirements

Research trends-shop stores, magazines trend services

Design groups to meet key price points and assortment plans

Attend and participate in customer meetings as needed

How will you succeed?

A degree in 3D Design, animation, or a related field is preferred

2 years’ experience in 3D design, or related industry

Experience in CAD software (3Ds Max, Rhino, Rhino Gold, CLO)

Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop

Ability to take part in weekly department meetings

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative inter-department working relationships

Strong time management and prioritization skills required as well as the ability to change focus, based on customer demands

Ability to monitor fashion trends and translate to saleable groups to meet customer needs

Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction

Skill in working as part of a team; collaborating with coworkers

Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines when necessary

Ability to travel domestically as needed to customer meetings
