Our Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Associate Account Executive by responding and reacting to customer inquiries, ensuring we are meeting our customer deadlines and needs. This position requires strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Work with customers to coordinate placing orders and all necessary follow-up from order placement to delivery.
- Interact regularly with Customers, Sales, Purchasing, Product Development, Merchandising and Operations.
- Create and send sales proposals to customer
- Initiate and follow through all aspects of order processing (new & replenishment orders)
- Create, update, and maintain all customer required forms, websites for new programs, item set ups, case packs, dims/weights, UPC, prices, factory info, port info, detailed descriptions, customs requirements, etc. )
- Communicate customer updates/changes to appropriate personnel
- Interpret report data
- Coordinate and manage all sample requirements/requests
- Meeting preparation which includes presentation books, sales reports, customer specific forms when necessary
- Domestic travel as needed
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Skills to Succeed
- AS or BS in Business Management or related field, or at least 2 years successful experience working in a customer service, sales assistant role
- Effective performance under conditions of fluctuating workload and priorities
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with customers and team members
- Strong collaboration skills and abilities
- Solid time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in customer service and inquiry resolution practices
- Leadership qualities that contribute to team success
- Proficiency in Word, Power Point, Excel, including V Look-Up and experience in Microsoft AX is a Plus
