Primary Focus
The Junior Merchandise Manager is responsible for supporting the Merchandising Manager in developing customer centric trend right quality product assortments that meet our Customer’s sales metrics while driving sales and margin for FAF. The Jr Merchandising Manager should be a passionate ambassador of our customers, cultivating a creative environment built of innovation, positivity & productivity.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in driving Innovation in merchandising & customer opportunities
Responsible for the complete understanding of assigned customer accounts
Cross functional collaboration with Sales, BAs, and Sourcing to create assortment plans based on in-depth analysis and thought-through pricing strategy
Pro-actively complete, organize and own the process of tasks such as creating proposals, carding, ticketing and completion of product development sheets
Create and utilize company tools to manage development timelines, outline vision and assortment as well as the visibility of information for Executive management approval
Communicate clearly and regularly with the team
What You'll Need To Succeed
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design or related field
0-2 years’ experience in a visual and fashion related merchandising position, with a focus on positive results
Knowledge of the fashion jewelry industry, including construction, components and terminology
Experience in retail and brand exposure
Ability to learn to identify holes in assortments and propose opportunities to an account
Strong and clear communication skills
Strong time management and prioritizing skills required as well as the ability to change focus based on customer demands
Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines when necessary
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn AX
