About the job
An Environmental Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Environmental Monitoring adheres to regulations, standards, and internal policies. The role typically involves reviewing and analyzing environmental data, monitoring compliance with SOP standards and potential process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing Documentation:
o Review and enter environmental monitoring data.
o Ensure that reports and documentation are accurate, complete, and filed in accordance with regulations.
- Reporting Compliance and Non-Compliance:
o Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation to governmental agencies (e.g., EPA, local environmental agencies).
o Report and document non-compliance events, reporting issues to department leadership and suggesting corrective actions.
- Data Management and Analysis:
o Enter and manage environmental data to be used for trending
o Ensure the accuracy and integrity of environmental data and records.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
o Evaluate environmental risks and the potential impacts of non-compliance.
o Help implement and monitor environmental management systems (EMS).
- Support for Audits and Investigations:
o Support regulatory inspections by providing requested documentation and evidence of compliance.
