Fair Acres Geriatric Center, owned and operated by the County of Delaware, is Delaware County’s Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lima, Pennsylvania. With over 200 years of service to the community, Fair Acres consists of eighteen buildings on a 210-acre tract, providing accommodations for over 900 residents. The facility is approved for operation by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and is certified for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Fair Acres is also a Geriatric training site for nursing schools in the area.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Nursing Assistant at Fair Acres Geriatric Center located in Media, PA. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing quality care and assistance to residents, assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Patient care skills, including feeding, bathing, and dressing
- Monitoring vital signs and observing changes in residents' conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from nursing staff
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a CNA training program
- Experience working with geriatric populations is a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
