**Job Summary**
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, recognizing their strengths, and using rehabilitative nursing techniques to restore or maintain independence. The ideal candidate will have previous health care experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living
- Recognizes residents' strengths and uses rehabilitative nursing techniques
- Reports observations to Nurse concerning the residents' condition or activities
- Assists in meeting the resident's emotional needs
- Assists in provision of a safe and clean environment
- Participates as team member in inter disciplinary care conference as requested
- Transports residents from one nursing unit to another
- Attends staff development programs related to job responsibilities and maintains educational requirements needed for certifications
