Job Description:

Fair Havens Senior Living is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents by performing general maintenance and repairs across our facility. Handyman skills are a must, and you’ll work closely with our Maintenance Director to maintain the highest standards for our building, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of buildings and grounds.
• Ensure that all equipment and systems are in safe, working order.
• Address minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Respond to on-call repair needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep of the facility.
• Help with snow removal and spreading salt in walkway areas.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Director.

Requirements:

• Proven handyman skills and general knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks promptly.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
