We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper N.J. Certification.

BEHAVIORIST (Starting February 2025)

Qualifications

N.J. Certificate: School Psychologist (3100) certificate or certificate in a related field

• Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certificate, preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first two years of employment
• BCBA certificate can be accepted in lieu of a NJDOE certificate
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
• Proficient in creating function-based intervention plans for behavior change strategies
• Demonstrate ability to provide classroom consultations
• Able to develop students' IEP goals
• Experience working with at-risk students
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, staff, administration and parents
• Proficient in student record keeping applications, Genesis preferred
• Must be able to perform physical work, as required
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
