We are presently accepting applications for the following position. We are looking for both NJ Certificated and non-certificated candidates.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INSTRUCTOR (Certificated/Non-certificated)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Hold a degree within the field of Education, Child Psychology, Social Work, or an equivalent field, preferred
• If certificated, Pre-K-3, K-6, or 5-8 endorsement, preferred
• Experience working with children
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage groups of students for up to one hour and lead classes and activities
• Strong supervisory skills to monitor Assistant Counselors and Counselors in Training
• Ability to effectively communicate with camp directors, campers, counselors and parents
• Ability to monitor the safety and well-being of campers and staff in their care
• Ability to manage overall class content and structure
• Ability to perform any additional tasks related to the position assigned by the director of the camp
  
  

Camp Instructors are expected to teach two classes in the morning and two in the afternoon.

Instructors will work 4-5 days per week through the entire camp season.

Program: Camp Sycamore and Camp FLAIR

Dates: 6/30/2025-08/15/2025

Hours: Morning and afternoon classes

Location: Memorial Middle School
