Job Summary
Oversees Account Payable function including the processing of invoices, expenses and/or credit memos for goods and services on a timely basis (monthly and year-end close). Oversees accurate processing of accounts payable ledger accounts.

Core Responsibilities
- Manages accurate and timely processing of monthly accounts payable expenditures including but not limited to document review, vendor set-up and maintenance, and governmental reporting.
- Manages SAP operating environment ensuring proper integration with ERP systems.
- Applies critical thinking to respond to SAP integration issues.
- Manages accounts payable department and staff including but not limited to overseeing 1099 processing, bill processing, policy and procedure updates, and staff development.
- Ensures that adequate internal controls are communicated and adhered to in all payable processes.
- Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective accounts payable processes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures timely and accurate month-end close and reporting.
- Maintains and manages department budget.
- Reviews and approves company invoices and expense reports.
- Prepares and presents accounts payable reports as required.
- Runs weekly payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH), credit card and/or check.
- Resolves issues or concerns with vendors pertaining to payment and disbursement.
- Ensures payments are made in a timely manner and invoices are handled correctly.
- Works with other departments/locations regarding payment to vendors.
- Files monthly sales tax and annual 1099 filing
- Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts.
- Reviews vendor statements and communicates with vendors regarding payment status.
- Support audit requests from external audit teams
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

- Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) or equivalent
- Two to four years of related experience or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Minimum of three years of accounting, bookkeeping, and/or financial experience
- Previous supervisory experience desired
- Strong ERP System Experience, preferably with SAP or other similar ERP systems
