Job Title: Supply Chain Cycle Counter

Reports to Title: Production Inventory Supervisor

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Cycle counter is a critical job involved with maintaining accuracy of physical inventory. The inventory control employee must follow company standards and rules regarding management of inventory. The Supply Chain Cycle Clerk is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, ensuring we store products appropriately, and label inventory where appropriate so that it easy to recover.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle count of inventoried products with negative days on hand inventory.
• Perform daily count of designated number of additional items by bin and ensure SAP is updated correctly.
• Ensure all new items have a assigned warehouse bin location considering product type, material, weight, and velocity when choosing bin location.
• Ensure products are in best warehouse location according to bin touch frequency.
• Work with receivers and replenishers to ensure First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO/FIFO) best practices are adopted and followed.
• Work with Shipping & Receiving and Inventory crews to help find missing product; adjusting inventory when appropriate via Inventory team, documenting adjustments and obtaining approvals
• Work closely with purchasing and Shipping & Receiving to adjusting inventory
• Work with warehouse leadership to ensure damage product is being investigated and returned to stock in a timely manner.
• Keeps return area safe, clean, and organized.
• Ensure that South/West paperwork is Verified for all transactions. Inedible exp. Disposition forms before execution.
• Change locations within operating procedures for when it makes sense to do so.
• Assist with re-pack projects and relabeled projects by making sure its labeled properly.
• Offload trailers with materials from South when they come in.
• Check the return label accuracy.
• Other various duties or special projects requested by the Production inventory supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• One to two years related experience or equivalent.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
• SAP experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is performed in a manufacturing and office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50lb and must have knowledge of computers and be proficient in word and Excel.
