Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that dietary needs are met while providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting the dietary department in delivering nutritious meals to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of culinary staff.
- Serve meals to residents, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.
- Buss tables and clean dining areas promptly after meals.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents' dietary preferences and concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service and support within the dietary department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to help others.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
