What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at Fair View Nursery Inc?
Fair View Nursery Inc is a 50 acre family owned wholesale nursery with 50 years of growing quality container material. Products grown include trees, ornamentals, groundcovers and perennials for the garden center and landscape market primarily in the mid-Atlantic states.
Seeking a hands-on, self-motivated individual with horticultural experience who is able to schedule irrigation cycles, trouble-shoot and repair irrigation lines.
Qualifications:
- Horticultural experience preferred
- Manage and operate irrigation system
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to operate small farm equipment
- Able to work to work some weekends
- Able to help out in other areas of nursery when irrigation is not needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
