What are the responsibilities and job description for the JH Assistant Cheerleading Coach position at Fairbanks Middle School?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student/athletes
- Completion or current enrollment in a CPR and First Aide training course
- Desire and ability to work with students, staff, and parents
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions
- Ability to serve as a positive role model for students
- Knowledge of Cheerleading Team practice organization, substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport, and safety as it applies to coaching cheerleading
- Other qualifications as determined by the administrator
- Teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to get a Level One Fingerprint Card at time of employment (District Office)
The position will require after school commitments for practice and game supervision
