Tools & Equipment: Horizontal boring and milling machine, rotary table, angle stands, set up blocks, facing head, boring head, machine attachments, face mills, arbors, clamps, bolts, fixtures, hammer, wrenches, micrometers, verniers, calipers, scales, dial indicators, gages, blueprints, sketches, process sheets, hoist, overhead crane.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives assignment, drawings, and/or verbal instructions.
- Make set ups using tools and equipment needed, select feeds and speeds.
- Machine parts to drawing dimensions performing operations such as bore, cobore, tap, drill, ream, counterbore, mill ends; face thrust bearings.
- Rework/repair parts as required.
- Work to tolerances of ± .0005 by adjusting and setting tools.
- Handle heavy parts by hoist or overhead crane.
- Proven experience/knowledge in setting up/operating manual boring bar.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
- High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Ability to work independently w/minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
