This position is a grant funded position and will end August 2025.
Job Summary : Installs data / communication wire from network closets, through ceilings, to various locations in schools.
Salary : Grade 3 : $16.91 - $26.42 DOE
Work Day : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : pm
Work Year : 9 months
Bargaining Unit : Education Support Staff Association (ESSA)
Job Qualifications / Requirements (please review job description forqualifications and duties of the position) :
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- High school level math skills.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; strong self-motivation skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work for long periods of time on a ladder.
- Ability to make simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to maintain a high level of safety consciousness at all times.
- A valid Alaska Driver's License is required.
- Must be able to obtain a pass on to Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base.
- Must be dependable, one absent crew member can significantly reduce productivity.
- Must be able to work all shifts
