Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that our facilities remain in optimal condition. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, pool chemicals, yard maintenance, and customer service abilities to effectively address our maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms.
- Check pool / hot tub chemicals and clean them and surrounding area to ensure the best guest experience.
- Checking grounds for curb appeal, picking up trash, emptying trash, sweeping
- Yard maintenance, ie: mowing, pulling weeds, watering, planting, trimming
- Utilize logic to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various items effectively.
- Experience with painting, caulking, carpet cleaning
- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring positive interactions with guests and staff.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
