ABOUT THE POSITION
As our Sales Representative, you will be required to work with current customers and establish new relationships within your assigned territory of business. You will be responsible for the sale of new and used forklifts and other material handling equipment, while maintaining and strengthening existing business and market share. This position is a full-time Exempt Outside Sales Position reporting out of our Bloomington, Minnesota branch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for maintaining existing business and generating new business within the following territories : Pipestone, Murray, Cottonwood, Brown, Watonwan, Nicollet, Blue Earth, Scott, Le Sueur, Waseca, Dakota, Rice, Steele, Goodhue, Dodge, Wabasha, Olmsted, Winona, Rock, Nobles, Jackson, Martin, Faribault, Freeborn, Mower, Fillmore, and Houston.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationship with current and prospective customers.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders for our Yale and Hyster division.
- Demonstrate products and services that best suits the needs of the customer.
- Develop proposals and quotes for current and prospective customers.
- Analyze the territory’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy.
- Supplies management with reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to take on additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the Director of Sales.
