Job Summary:
Canton Local Schools is seeking a committed, visionary, and student-centered leader to serve as Elementary Principal at Faircrest Memorial Elementary School. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of elementary education, a commitment to continuous school improvement, and the ability to lead with integrity, compassion, and high expectations.
Qualifications:
- Administrative experience preferred
- Valid Ohio Principal License or ability to obtain
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or related field
- Strong instructional leadership skills
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Demonstrated success in data-driven decision making and school improvement
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional leadership and ensure high-quality teaching and learning
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate
- Evaluate and support instructional staff
- Foster strong communication with families and the community
- Lead and monitor school improvement initiatives aligned with district goals
- Ensure effective management of school operations
