Job Description :

As a Veterinary Surgical Technician, you will play an integral role in the success of surgical procedures and the overall health of our patients. You will assist the surgical team in performing a wide range of surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment, and providing comfort to both the pet and the pet owner. If you have a passion for surgery, animal care, and making a difference in the lives of pets and their families, we want you to be a part of our team!

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, ensuring all tools are sterile and ready for use.
Assist veterinarians during surgeries, including patient monitoring, anesthesia administration, and surgical instrument handling.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical procedure.
Monitor vitals and anesthesia levels during surgeries, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
Provide post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, administering medications, and educating pet owners on aftercare.
Maintain accurate records for all surgical procedures and treatments.
Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent patient care.
Ensure that all surgical areas are properly cleaned and disinfected in accordance with safety protocols.

Requirements : Qualifications :

Licensede Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred, but not required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary surgery or a related field.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and veterinary care.

Ability to handle sensitive and critical situations with professionalism and care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Compassionate, patient, and a genuine love for animals.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
