Description
Participates in the overall management of the office of Enterprise Information Services and Assessment including student systems, special education systems, instructional systems, and customized school-based applications development and integration; provides day-to-day guidance and management for student systems within the district; oversees system and application evaluation to ensure optimized platform performance, seamless integration, expanded reporting capacity, and scalability; controls risk to protect confidential data; monitors and reports on current initiative statistics; provides recommendations on technology advances to meet future division needs for student system and school-based applications; leads in planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating the activities, program functions, personnel, physical, and fiscal resources of the assigned office; assists with strategic planning and goals.
Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in student information technology systems, special education systems, learning management systems, or a related field, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
